Oistins is also widely popular as a result of the Oistins Fish Festival. An annual, week-long held in April each year, dedicated to celebrating the culture of the fishing village, the talents of the fisherfolk, and their impact on Barbadian culture. This festival is a great opportunity to partake in some of the island's best Bajan cuisine as well as support local vendors, farmers, and artisans. There are many vendors to choose from and vendors offer a variety of fish steaks of many kinds, ( mahi-mahi, tuna, snapper, barracuda, and sometimes lobster), along with complimentary sides and salads. Oistins is perfect for the entire family or groups of friends! Head out to have an affordable, delicious meal while enjoying the local ambiance of the market. Conversely, if you prefer a more quiet experience, visit Bay Gardens on weekdays when there is less foot traffic. In Oistins, there’s something for everyone.

So much fun! Went to cool parts of the island we may not have gotten to, especially in one night. Started at a craft brewery, real local vibe. Then to Oistins for a fish fry and a major party was happening. Next was a stop at St. Lawrence gap checking out the night life........and more.Jamar was great; on the way to our first stop he was singing along to a song and advised us, in no uncertain terms, by the end of the night we'd be singing along as well. Didn't happen, we were singing along after the first stop.Had a blast!!!

Dread Hop was awesome! Local spot with a local vibe. Oistens has always been on my list of places to go, especially on a Friday night. They have plenty of food, drinks, and dancing. St Lawrence Gap is good for picking up some local gifts but also pretty much a party in the evenings. Definitely a tour worth taking if you want to get out and see the local spots!

Jamar was a fantastic tour guide. His upbeat personality and safe driving was the perfect blend to ensure we had a wonderful tour on the last day of our holiday. He took us to some well know tourist spots and showed us the wonders of Barbados and also showed us some less visited spots which were equally as amazing. He also knows some great spots to take the BEST photos!His car is immaculate and smells good!We would definitely book Jamar again next time we visit the island.

Professionalism, Cleanliness, Attention to details....and Punctuality. These are just a few of the things that comes to mind when thinking of my experience with Jamar. I have had the pleasure of using his services on two separate occasions in Barbados. He's my first and only call when I go to Barbados. I know that once we confirm he will be outside waiting for me. Jamar offers taxi services, sight seeing tours, airport transfers. Travelling in a pandemic....not to worry. Jamar is Covid19 Safety Protocol approved and his vehicle comes with everything thing you need to feel safe, from sanitary wipes, masks to an exceptionally clean interior.Working with Jamar...it is clear to see he takes pride in what he does and does in exceptionally.

I make frequent trips to Barbados for work and Jamar was recommended to me by a coworker. Over the past couple of years I have relied on him to bring me to and from the airport as well as daily trips to and from work. He’s always on time, accepts multiple types of payment, and we always have great conversations. Knows the roads and always is able to make decisions based on the time of day and traffic flow to get me where I’m going quick.At this point I consider him more of a friend than a driver. Definitely reliable and good people. I would highly recommend him if you need a ride.
